Generative AI Engineer Programme launches on Vecorra

The Generative AI Engineer Programme is a sixteen-week, part-time programme (about 85 hours, around five hours a week) on building Generative AI systems that work in production. It covers prompting and structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, agents and the Model Context Protocol, evaluation, safety and governance, and deployment on AWS.

It is taught through 183 lessons and 93 hands-on labs on Vecorra, our training platform, with weekly live online sessions. Learners finish with an independent capstone and a team challenge set by an employer, and the programme prepares them for the Vecorra Certified Generative AI Engineer (Associate) certification, VCA-GAI.

It is aimed at final-year students, recent graduates and early-career developers and analysts who can write basic Python. A pre-course covers Git, testing, FastAPI, Docker and the AWS basics for anyone who has not worked as a software engineer.
